Cam Bearing tool

I need to install cam bearing in my block. Can i use a small block chevy bearing tool to install the bearing in my Block? I am useing 109 block bearings in a 109 block.

No, the Small block chey has a different ID on the bearing. You "might" be able to wrap a few layers of electrical tape to build it up to match the Buick bearing ID. NOt rocket science, but if not installed right it could get a little expensive.

I was thinking about getting one of these. I know how to instll them just was not sure of the ID. what is the ID of our cam bearings?
