Put new cap on, cap with led, all numbers look good on scanmaster, but bogged down for about 2 min. Hasn't happened since but.....

Here's the issue: when I put the cap on with the window at the 4 o'clock position the led on the cap is lit.

With the timing mark is at zero on the harmonic balancer the led is not lit.

I placed the cap according to the window at 4 o'clock on top of the sensor and numbers are good except for the bogging down issue that only happened once.

Am I missing something or do I have other gremlins?

If it was running with the old cap it should be a simple swap. That said, the L.E.D. cap is known to have issues. I would stick with the O.E. sensor.

Now you tell me.

I guess I'll adjust based on the balancer and see what happens.

I'm going to construct a list of gimmick parts to stay away from, because I think I've gone thru all of them.

Thanks for the input.
