Cam sensor position

My cam sensor is out of time with my motor. I for sure found top dead center on my motor and the cam sensor window isn't in the right location. It should be around the 4 o'clock position looking from the front of the car. It is around like 8 o'clock. I pulled the bolt that holds the sensor in, but it won't pull out. How can I adjust the position? Do I have to pull it out? Can I just turn the motor until the sensor position is correct, loosen it, and then find TDC again and then tighten it back down? I know how to adjust it 25 degrees after TDC once I have it sorted. I just need help getting it to where it's supposed to be before the 25 degree adjustment. Any help?

Ok, disregard the last post. I managed to wiggle the cam sensor out and adjust it to its proper position.
