Cam Sensor Problem

I noticed my car idling a little fuff yesterday and went thru the scanmaster ans found a 41 malfunction . We installed a Casper cam sensor a few months back , Why or How would it do that ? Thanks Keith

Did you follow the instructions for the new cap?
If the CS timing was correct with the stock cap, and you just replaced the cap without rotating the cap, the timing will be off.

In essence, the new cap has the "25deg ATDC" build into the cap, when the slots of the cap are centered.

The Casper cap has been on for bout 6 months with no issues , car idled great , very smooth and I noticed yesterday a rough idle and the SM gave me a 41 malfunction . I'm putting the stock on back on to see if that fixes the problem

Just put the factory sensor back on and no malfunction , Casper has a life time warranty on those so good for me , Thanks Keith
