cam sensor roll pin

anyone know where to get a new roll pin or a hardened one, or what size is needed for the cam sensor gear. thanks

Try calling MSD. The gear should the same as one from the end of a distributor. The gear on the cam is the same.

Be sure not to get the gear installed 180 degrees off, if you do you won't be able to set the cam sensor... I know that for a fact

I have found them at ACE. You can also double them up for streght. In other words use the stocker and drive in a smaller one inside the stocker.

Please explain further.

From what I seen, the gear is round and even all around.

I know you can install the cam sensor 180* out but not the gear.

Sorry had to hunt for my post on the other board, here is a quote from that thread.
"Ah well, let me just say that if you decide to take the gear off the shaft on the cam sensor be sure to install it the right way. That would be with the dot on the gear opposite side of the window opening..."
