Cam Sensor

I tried adjusting the cam sensor, and nothing is changed when it is turned both ways. Could this mean it is bad and also causeing the car to run rought at idle?

It doesn't work quite like that. It isn't a distributor... go thru the cam sensor setting procedures (found in a search on this board) to double check your findings... I have done this procedure 12 times this summer... and now perform it in my sleep.
