Can 18x10s in the rear fit?

That is the question, I am pretty set on having 18s in back and 17s in front, I have read that opinions on 18s cause some controversy so just wanted to say that.

The rims I am getting have the sizes 17x8 for front and either 18x9 and 18x10 for the rear. What would b/s be for each combo?

Also what would be some good tires, anyone with 18s want to chime in? I saw nitto has drag radials for 18s but I don't know if it would fit the rim, could they?

By the way the car has a mid 11 sec combo and will be street driven I would like to have decent traction on the street but slicks for the track are probably next anyways.

TIA

I have 15x10's with 295/50's on my GN. I rolled the fender and they do not rub even on turns. The rims have a 4.5 bs and it will come down to your tire size on if you will like them or hate them.

Due to your rim being an 18", your tire profile will be a low number and that means that the tires thread will be wider and its possible that the section width will be also. I would not go over a 285 - 295/40 or 35.

These are not cheap (285/40/18)

I run 17x9.5s with 4.75 inch backspace and could of fit a 10 inch rim with 4.75 inch backspace with out rolling the fender lip. I have 285 BFG-G- Forces and have enough room to go outboard another 1/2 inch without worrying about touching the fender.

18x10's will be tight , you will need 4.75 to 5.125 BS'ing.
I run 18x9.5 wheels on the back with 5" BS'ing ,it clears fine .

Tire Brands make a big diff in ride quality and handling , the best tire ,all things considered are the Bridgestone S-O3 Pole Postion .(275x40x18) .bout 250.00 form the tire rack , the ride is good and the handling both wet and dry are outstanding , now keep in mind this is not an all out race tire but a real street tire .
245x45 or 255x45 17's are the tire size for the frt .
Here are some pic's .............

qwknuf6 jr-whats your combo?

Your car looks great, what tires are you running and what sizes? Also what size are your front rims? Thanks very much.

frt wheels are 17x8.5
Rear tires are 275x40x18 ,10.2 tread width and 11.2 section width , 26.7 tall
Frt tires are 245x45x17 25.7 tall and 9.2 tread if I remeber .
They are Bridgstone S-03 pole postion tires ,

Thankyou sir

Two more for you, any idea of the offset on the front wheels (by the way, are those puppies simmons or ROH?)? Also, whats is your suspension/brake combo (any positives, negatives, or notes of interest?) Thanks again!!

Brakes and susp are stock , I am not sure of the offset on the frt wheels but the BS'ing on the frt is 4.25 ,The wheels are simmons FR

I'm putting 18 x 10's in the rear and 18 x 9's on the front...along with very big Baer brakes (that's another story). I can publish pics as soon as the system is together.

Talk to Baer before you buy the wheels. I put 17X8 torq thrusts at all 4, then got the hotchkis big brake kit. Fronts now stick out too far and have to get two new wheels w/ different offset. Goin to just upgrade again to a 4 or 6 pot from baer. Then get new wheels.

The wheels were built referencing Baer's brake templates listed on their website. So if the calculations are accurate and the "measure thrice, cut once" philosophy is employed, the wheels should shroud the brakes and fit like a glove. Otherwise shame on me for believing in Baer and misleading others.
