can I restall?

Sorry guys I am by no means a tranny expert. I have recently upgraded all my goods and I am about to install a TE-63e. I have a red stripe convertor on now. Is there any way I can re stall this, or am I destined to get a new convertor? I figure I need at least 3200 and right now I think I am at 2800...why do you guys think?

New converter, I believe that the D5's can only go as high as 3000 stall safely, being the Orange Stripe version.
