Can I use a 1996 Chevy Truck MAF?

I just got a MAF translator for Christmas, and I have a MAF sensor left over from my 1996 truck that I junked. I can't find any info on whether or not it can be used. It measures 3.5" and is also 3 wire. Any help would be appreciated.

it will most likely work fine. There were a couple different 3.5" MAFs and they all were fine.

If it will physically plug up (and mount to your MAF pipeing) set both dials at 0 and go from there.
