Can I use a 87 GN Trans in a 1989 Turbo TA

Can I use the trans from the 1987 Buick GN and use it in a 89 Turbo Trans am? basically Im getting the engine trans wiring form the 87 GN. I know the harness is different. What about the ECM form the GN

Trans would be fine BUT ya need the speedo assembly for the TTA .. One of these

ECM is the same the factory chips will be set up a lil diffrent for higher boost an mph
