I do have the hvy. duty actuator, lines look good, what would be the result of by passing the orifice and wastegate and go straight from actuator to compressor side, 83lb inj, TT chip and E85 , WB02, would like to get down to about 23-23lbs, also have Razor's kit, but still want to go 22-23lbs max. What happens when this set up takes place???? looking for ideas
thanks

Could have a small pinhole leak, and colder air will raise the boost a couple psi.

Don't go from the actuator straight to the turbo compressor. What will control the boost level??

I would ditch the stock solenoid and rehose a manual valve inline and go from there with the set screw backed way way out. You should see 18psi due to the heavy actuator.

If you go from the compressor to the actuator it will have boost set to the spring pressure in the actuator. I believe they are 16 psi. The soliniod should bleed off pressure going to the actuator. You will need to inspect all the hoses for cracks and you will need to use the orfice with the soliniod. The orfice needs to be the oem size for it to work properly. I would also inspect the arm and pivits. Make sure the wastegate will open and moves freely.

I had a similar problem...has the wastegate plumbed up backwards!

The wastegate actuator is backed off, if I can go any farther with it then
the puck would not cover the hole, it is possible that I do have a pin hole size leak, I do have a new hose assembly that I can install, in the past I could get down to about 18-19lbs but not now and that was last year or so and the hose assembly on it now is not that old. will dink around with it this week end but the weather looks not good for any test drives as my car has never been in the rain or snow and is parked in my heated 50 degree shop in the winter months, being from Michigan the winter snow and salt wreaks havoc on cars, at least here in Boise area when it snows they use sand, works great on the roads and no rusted cars here.

Boostingbuick, that is what I was thinking also that if I went from act. to comp. side if I seen 16-19 lbs that would tell me my actuator is working or am I'm wrong in this thinking. one process of elimination at a time!

Kind of, if the acuator is working and the puck is not opening all the up causing a overboost then you may replace the acuator and not fix the problem. I would unhook the puck from the pivit and make sure it move freely. Then see if actuator will control the boost ran straight to the comp housing.

The actuator and puck move freely, I put 25lbs to the act. and she moves
about 3/8-1/2" give or take, I will by pass everything and go from act. straight to the comp. side and see what happens, Just in case called Limit and ordered a new act. any way just in case, the spring or diaphfram sp!
could have a leak. or a leak in the hose or could be the solenoid or both which makes it a little tougher when there is more than one thing that can FUBAR things
up.
