Wondering if possible and if so how to do?

just get a 3 wire 5 v coolant temperate sensor and hook it to number 4 or 5 on the block. Not sure where to tell you to mount it other than weld a bung in the pan.might be an easier way.you will have to tell the PL the range on the temperature in the INI file .At least I think it would be that simple.Im monitoring oil pressure and fuel pressure on 4 and 5

All the temp sensors I've seen don't really give the voltage. I know the PL requires a 5v reference. I have the fuel pressure transducer hooked up to #4. Works fine. I understand the INI. file, I just haven't seen what to use for a sensor what will work.

wouldnt the STD 0-5 v coolant temperature sensor work .if you know the range and voltage statistics

standard coolant sensors are not linear.

any linear sensor would be easy to incorporate. using a stock style coolant sensor might work. It would require some customization in the software though.
