Can windshield/rear window molding be powder coated?

Is it made out of metal? Mine is starting to flake off(was painted long ago) and was looking for something more durable.

NOT 100% sure but the guy that did some powder coating for me said that any metal that can handle 450 degrees is doable.

Yes it can be coated. It's warps easy though

i did my own. They warped a little. The clips pulled them down pretty much straight.

Contact rmar (Ronnie) on the board and he can give you a better idea of how to do it. He had a powder coating business for several years and with the current economy (sp) it went under but he knows his stuff. aminga (Alan) got a lot of tips and info from him and Al has a good idea of how to make powder coating work.
