can xzlyene be put in any car

wanted to put some zxlyene in my g/f car to clean it out its a 4 banger so can i still do it just thought i would ask before screwing something up, thanks

I put Xylene in my truck to clean it out every 3 months or so....Add a gallon of Xylene and a 1/2 oz of Marvel Mystery oil and no problem..... Xylene is in gasoline already .......
