I don't know anyone doing it, but it should be possible.

Why do you want to run a distributor?

Bob

Ok, you lost me.

"Stage 2" what? engine? heads? chip?

what are your plans for the car?

Bob

I thought most people with a stage2 motor run a distributor set up, I have a RPE built stroker stage2 motor with gn-1 heads, and I also thought the distributor is good for another 100 HP.

Or a TR6.

But we still don't know your goals. The stock system is pretty capable if it is in really good shape. There are lots of options.

But, there are no ignition systems that "add" horsepower.

What kind of car are you building?

Bob

Thanks- I ll look into Cals system, I'm building a mostly street show & go car- not just a track car. My goals are capable high 8 sec runs but I d be happy with low 9s.

That would be nice. No truth to it though.

My system only works with the XFI. If you are planning on running a stock ecm, then Bob's TR6 setup will work. We sell both the TR6and my CNP setup, so feel free to give us a call.
