Cannot remove timing cover!!!

have all ofthe bolts out, including the 3 on the pan, and the thing wont budge. is there anywhere i can pry to get it off?? ive been pulling on it with all of my strength, do they normally have this had of a time coming off?

My guess is you don't have all the bolts off.

Not normally a tough pull even with the timing cover alignment pins in place. Get your super-zeon-zapper work light out and light up the cover from all angles (especially below) to make Sure you have all the bolts out. I'll bet one is hiding on ya.

There is a bolt in the oil pump area the is elusive 2nd up on the RT side it's recessed. Also take the bolts out of the water pump.

Don't forget to take the cam sensor out.

i guess all of the grease that was built up was holding it in place.....after some gentle prying, it came off......thanks for the help guys
