I'm joining the band wagon on selling our cars *LOL* But, Chris needs to buy new books for school
thats right, I'm heading back to school to finish up on electrical engineering. I took a long enough break (2 years ) and decided to get right back into it.

For now I'm going to drive the purple people eater and save up cash in the meantime to buy another TR. Hopefully by the time I graduate a nice one will pop out of the blue and BLAM! CASH MONEY! or buick may have wised up by then and return a modern day (when that day comes) GNX

I'm selling everything that deals with the T, the LC2/BRF trans, Easter Performance FMIC, TiAL BOV but has the puka for the alky injection and the LTDP...ERRYDING!! $3000.00

the T currently has the bashed up fender but I have the spare fender I bought from Koa, the there's 3 cancer areas by the pass window and the b-pillars. (typical) things inside, nothing special about the interior only leir seiglar seats Guy loves so much engine, the Highvolume oil pump, replace the seals already. hrpartsnstuff poly engine and trans mounts, 86/87 coilpack conversion, the pretty buick motorsports valve covers. Jay Jackson modded throttle body. Ramcharger elec fans. CAS AFPR, Johns performance fuel pressure guage, hotwire, pinion snub, rear braces, green stripes. most of you know this, it has the G80 posi and both alum bumper supports. Oh...Mick's driveshaft loop is already installed. OHH..cant forget the art carr 10" NL converter. up to whomever what you wanna do with the car. I just wanna get back into school and finish up and attain my BS and get my license to be a professional engineer. plus have a reason to check out all the girls at campus center at UH

Education should always come first. Better and faster cars will always come along with money. And you can expect alot more moolas to buy whatever the heck you want with your BS in EE than just BS. Take it from me, I got a MS in BS from the University of Geoff87.

Nah, no tools well..just the ones I've inheirited from my grandfather but hell no I aint gonna sell those But I'm willing to help whoever picks up the car to get things done. weekends mostly cause my weekdays look pretty f*cked once school starts. thank goodness I dont have any weekend class. but I have one english class that finishes at starts at 6 and ends at 9:30 for tues and thurs Derrick still has some parts for the conversion yet. Sooner or later I'll have to go over to his house and pick them up. I forgot to add that it already has a hooker exhaust setup. gotta fabricate a test pipe once the conversion goes through because the 84/85 exhaust is a little different. just have a 2.5" pipe flared at each end to slip it on. Yah, i finally realized how much cash I dont have. i cant ask my parents because they got mortgages to pay, which I'm already giving them $500 every month as rent. they even made me sign a rent-check for . I think I'm going to find an apartment in town to rent. since we closed our office in kapahulu, there's a living quarters in our old building. i might ask my boss if he can let me stay there. and pay a minimum amount. sorry for the life story. i've been trying and trying to save for this now "rainy day" now that i need books. why does books have to be so frigging expensive!!! we dont even cover 50% of whats in the books! I have a set of books from previous semesters that'll make the GN service bulletin look like a short stack of comics. I havent priced my books yet. just judging from how much I spent about 2 years ago, 8 books 2 softwares and other misc crap came near $1500. the two grants I applied for, for being of Filipino Ansestry and being 1/8ths or so Hawaiian never pulled through. dunno why? I'll be trying again for other grants next semester. Gotta read up more on what federal grants i can qualify for.

Wise decision to make on going back to school. Like Gokada said, education will bring more $$$, and that will enable you to buy into better rides.
Sorry to hear about getting rid of your T, but if you keep looking, another good car will take its place.
Anyhow, hope you still decide to hang around here. It wouldn't be the same without you and your "jiggly" avatar.

Of course I'll be around and popping my head in hear from time to time Gotta arrange more Anna Miller get togethers, more Dyno sessions, and what not. I'll be there. something tells me my fridays are pretty open with the way my classes are arranged cause my last class ends at 3:30. depends though...if there's a hottie in my class i may wanna offer some...uhm help with her studies and such. haha. My girlfriend is all paranoid with me going back to school cause she know what lingers around campus center during lunch time. and somthing tells me she's gonna be ditching her office (abuse of power) to make sure i aint doing anything im not supposed to. Hey, a mans gotta have some kind of motivation to be in school. my girlfriend was kinda the motivation i took the long break haha. Well no dorm parties this time around...I really wanna get this over with and persue a prosperous future.

I went to the campus today...and OMG!!!!! CHICKS!!! some are bait...very hittable Anyways...priced my books today, came out just under $1k. not bad...but I still aint got enough to cover $1k. Good News though, I found a potential buyer but he's asking that I drop the price to $2800. VERY VERY VERRRRY Tempting. I've got till 9pm (8:50 now) to make up my mind. I have the title to transfer out from the safe pretty much ready to go. I have to get a hold of derrick to get the rest of the parts to give to the guy if I end up selling. I'm also waiting on Nate to give me a call for the header panel to get to the guy. Man...I'm having some second thoughts about selling but I know I gotta do it. With Perserverance comes great rewards, I gotta keep saying that to myself!

I think you're making the right decision! Not about selling the T, but about finishing School. If selling the T is the ONLY option for temporary financing, then so be it. You may regret it if it's not.

How about a student loan instead? You can Defer payment for as long as you "continue" your education. I don't know first hand, but that's what I was told by someone with a current Student loan......

Let me know about the rental situation when you're ready.

Been thinking, I'm selling it to that guy. Time will pass, money will grow. I'll be working roughly the same hours, but I'll have less time to play..so in turn...I'll be saving up some cash for that one fine day another TR will arise. Gas is cheap when I'll be using the purple pos...I'll be living vicariously through you guys through your TRs and building a drag car for one of my friends (a very slow process cause he's broke too ) and help finish up my brother's car.

Gonna be a sad day come friday...I think the guy's gonna pick up the rest of the parts Sat. I'm planning on saving up on some cash by next year's end to buy an 86/87...starting out with the left over cash from selling the car. who knows? there might be a GNX being sold in the mid $20k ...by the looks of things, GNX's are popping out of nowhere on ebay with very short time gaps in between. that would be soooo nice to own one and drive it everyday . that would be nice. I have a nice picture of the GNX as my wallpaper for sentimental reasons. saying...BUY ME! And every now and then I'll catch ride with derrick in his T .
