this is a really good read, I'm curious why a Bosch 237 fuel pressure regulator over adjustable?

The 237 FPR provides the correct pressure that most performance chips require, while still appearing bone stock. Plus they don't cost very much.

If you want the option to adjust your fuel pressure beyond that range, then pick up one of the adjustable ones.

Im not actually in socal I just want to live there so bad. I live in central New Jersey but im going to college in the summer either in Arizona or California. maybe Lousianna but most likely the first 2

LOL. Keep the dream alive bro! ;)

Scanmaster and a real boost gauge of your choice along with a spring cleaning. At least you can see what the car is doing then go from there. Use the "search" here, there are a lot of common questions you will have that are already posted. Some dont mind answering them, some do and will tell you to search. Next research, research, then ask BEFORE you buy some you will only have to do it once...maybe. Use the for sale section but to some research on the seller but you can get some good deal there to help save some$$$

X2 on this, especially the bit about the Parts For Sale section here.

We were all teenagers once; and I'm sure at some point in our youth we've all blown oil change or new tire money on mods we didn't need instead.

But don't thrash your car trying to make it badass when you don't even know whether or not its running properly. Do your 'spring cleaning' first. And save a few hundred bucks for unexpected repairs, because all your mods don't mean sh-- when your car is broken down and you cant afford to get it fixed.

(And if you do move to SoCal, keep your car registered in NJ where (hopefully) your emissions laws are less stringent. If you try register your car here, smog certification will eat up all your money and you'll rue the day you bought it. And then you'll still have to hope it won't overheat in the traffic. :D)
