After putting in new body bushings, I can no longer get the ignition key out after putting the car in "P"ark. I have to grap the steering column and rotate it just a little further, then the key comes right out.
I suspect now that the body is up just a little higher off of the frame now with the new bushings that there is something I need to adjust on the shifter cable, but not sure where to adjust to get the desired results.
Thought maybe someone has ran into this before and has a easy way to fix without me dorkin around with it for hours.
Thanks,

STEERING COLUM LOCKING UP

GO UNDER THE CAR DRIVERS SIDE BETWEEN THE FRAME AND THE TRANNY THERE IS LINKAGE COMMING OFF THE FIRE WALL THAT ATTATCHES TO THE TRANNY.
THERE SHOULD BE A LONG BAR WITH A SPRING I BELIEVE. THERE ARE 1 OR 2 NUTS OR BOLTS ON THAT ROD LOOSEN THEM SO THE LINKAGE SLIDES DOWN A BIT AND RETIGHTEN IT UP.
YOU SHOULD ONLY HAVE TO MOVE IT ABOUT A 1/2". THAT SHOULD FIX YOUR PROBLEM.
