2 times in 3 yrs my truck has been vandalized and broken into. No I don't live in a crappy hood. One time they got me at work, the other (last night) at home. These fudders better never ever never never let me catch them! I will show no mercy and beat the bastards like their abscent daddy shouldve. If you got kids beat em'. If you know a thief punch em. If you are a thief F%&K OFF!

I feel you im like a walking target for thieves! Finally on one of my trucks i installed an alarm and then hooked train horns up to it Its been almost 2 years and i still havnt had someone try it but i cant wait to see that pile of crap that fell out of there pants next to truck.

You have to move to a crappy hood where they wont bother you :biggrin: Just kidding.

You might try installing a motion vision camera that can work in low light or some perimeter warning system that activates an alarm to wake you up.

Best was a local landscaper was stealing new bushes around town. He hit me for 3. He decided to come back for more. I was prepared. I put chain around each bush and buried it in mulch. As he was pulling and bush was going nowhere I heard the klanking. I flipped on the light, he took off with me in chase.

Yes sir this could only happen in WONDERFULL Billerica MASSACHUSETTS!

He Jumped back into pickup truck & I whipped the OLD 82 Chevy battlewagon into chase mode. I saw him poking out behind a local buisness. To watch an 82 wagon swinging around was impressive. I followed him and got the plate number. I went off to local PD station in my PJ's The officers were laughing :tongue: As I told the story.

I told them this must be the guy who is hitting the graveyards, homes & buisness places.

I heard his address & next day investigator detective came over so we took ride to his house. He had wonderfull landscaping & greenhouse.

All I know is the crime spree stopped.. The BUSH caper solved

It should be something more that would really standout to bring attention to them to alert the unsuspecting victims.

Like cutting off a finger for the first time they are caught stealing, 2 fingers cut off the second time and if they didn't learn anything from that,then the third time the whole hand should be cut off.

They would be easy to spot then.

I wont build my cars to the way I want them because I am pretty sure they will get vandalised or stolen if I put $20k in them and they sit in public too long.

Its pretty sad if you think about it.

They only good thing about the TTA's and Syclones are the vins are REAL rare and should be spotted easily if they ever get registered ---

I hate to see people suffer at the hands of thieves. I feel for you man.

I volunteer in the juvenile jail system here in G'ville. When I ask them why they steal most really don't know. "Just because it was there." They really don't do it for the money. When I ask them why they vandalize other people's stuff they really don't know that either. They are just screaming for attention.

The sad part is if you study the statistics of Ju V across the country 99% of Juvenile detention kids do not have an adult in their lives they can trust. 95% are three years behind their peers in academics, 50% have parents/guardians that use/sell illegal drugs and 80% will be in real prison in 8-10 years. No one shows these kids how to make a good decision. No one takes the time to teach them anything or make them do their school work. They have only ever seen poor decisons by their parents/guardians.

I'm not justifying what they do by any means. But my heart goes out to an eleven year old in county lockup who was running the streets at 2 am causing trouble because no one cares where he is or what he's doing. We had a ten year old across the street whose mom used to lock him out of the house when she went drinking and he would sleep on their front porch until she came home, even when it was cold out, that was until I saw him and made him start coming over here, eat dinner and sleep on the couch. He had my wife in tears when he said he never wanted to go home and would we adopt him. The mom had the nerve to send the cops over.

We throw away kids now like they're yesterday's trash.
