car lighter / visor mirror lights

just last week out of nowhere from one day to another my car lighter and mirror lights on the visor stopped working i checked the fuse and replaced it but i still have no power going through them i dont know where else to look for the problem at any suggestions or tips on what i should look or to get them back in working order would be appreciated thanx

Probe the fuse connectors with a test light or VOM.
Test the fuse ..... with the Ohm meter.
I would start there.

Next is trying to figure out "why" the fuse blew ........
Possible a short in the Cig lighter ....or somewhere else.
