I have been chasing this problem for a while now.My car seems to lose its pull when it gets into third and bucks a little. My 1/4 mile times have been real slow and 1/8 so so.My last 1/4 mile run was 11.69 @ 113 and my best 1/8 yesterday was 7.32@92.4. I think even my 1/8 mph should be higher with that et.I was running 24# and 29/27* timing in my extender extreme setup. My 60' was a best ever 1.60.The problem is when the car gets into third just before the 1/8 it stops pulling as good.I don't think it is trans slip. The heads are champion irons and have only 10,000 or less miles.Could valvesprings cause this?I have no KR at all on the scanmaster FP is set at 43# line off.I run the chip in open loop mode so the o2 sensor is out. What all should I check?

Your mph seems low on both the 1/8 and 1/4. I've run 92.4 mph in the 1/8 on a 7.62 pass before.

* Are you having any ignition cutout up top? Module/Coil prob?
* Could your cam be going flat?
* Is your converter locking when it's supposed to?
* Is your FP maintaining up top?

There's no reason your valve springs that came on the Champions should be worn out yet. Whose cam are you running? Comp? Roller?

Lots of stuff to check and validate...

Cam is a comp 206 flat tappet. It does kind of chug and buck up top,but only in third.Might have to try a different coil pack and check the FP up top.I think it could be a bad FPR.I don't know if that would cause a problem. The regulator is an accufab unit. The coil pack and module are fairly new as well.

Do you have a FP gauge that you can tape to the windshield and watch while making a run? Actually, you'd be best to let a passenger watch it. Anyway, it would be good if you could monitor the FP at WOT, and see if it's falling off. You could also do it on a chassis dyno if you know a shop that has one.

How can I make my car that slow?...lol check my sig...

Maybe you are too rich? 24# of boost with your set up should be 99+ mph in the 1/8.

I have a FP gage in the a pillar.I think it is running rich up top too UNGN.My egts at noble last year when I ran that 1/4 time were mid 1400s.I think I will try leaning it out some if the FP stays up with the boost like its supposed to.Sunday was the first time at the track since october.I did notice adding timing and boost helped,so I am pretty sure it is A/F related.
