Car Radio

Ok, I have 2 3.5" Infinity speakers, 2 5.25 Pioneer and 2 6x9 Kickers installed. I have the factory radio, and I can hardly hear any music coming through. I think the radio has crapped out. Any suggestions for replacement.

I would like a stock one to keep if I ever sell the car, but am worried if I put an aftermarket in that it would attract too much bad attention.

thoughts...and what radio...cost is always an issue

Just take the faceplate off when you leave the car then. Even taking it off and putting it in the glove box or center console will probably be enough.

Get a good brand....Pioneer Premier, Alpine, Kenwood Excelon....avoid Jensen if you can...


Also chances are your new speakers are 4 ohms, the radio is probably suppose to only see a 10 ohm load, which IIRC you overtaxed it by telling it to reduce the ohmage.
