Took my car out monday to strecth it out a little . I hit it pretty hard it went thru first and second find but as it shifted to third it began to bog . It would not pu and felt like it just couldnt get enough air , I dont have a scan tool on it , What does this sound like . A little side note I leant my brother my car and he swears he put good gas . My carburated car would only do this when the gas was bad . Again a problem I had after he drove it . I will occasionally let him drive my cars because I cant drive both of them enough and I dont believe cars should sit to long .
Why do you think my car is bogging

CLASSIC sign of a dying fuel pump, with the fuel pressure falling off under high demand (3rd gear).... a scan tool will also show this as very lean O2 numbers and probably a boat load of knock retard. If you run the car like this (going LEAN) very many times, you are DEFINITELY going to blow a head gasket or worse. Beg, borrow, or steal a scan tool and fp gage with a hose to temporarily hook up and tape the gage to the windshield so you can see it while you are driving. Usually, with a failing fuel pump, the pressure will rise like it's supposed to as boost goes up (in 1st and 2nd gear, where the fuel volume demand isn't that large), then fall off (3rd gear) as the fuel demand exceeds the weak pump's capacity. I can't stress enough..... diagnose and fix this now, or be prepared for MAJOR grief...... :(

I have a bosch fuel pump sitting on the shelf can I use that one ? What are the instruction to change my fuel pump or should I go back to stock . The car has no modifications . I will get a scan tool soon

Buy a new intank replacement pump from one of the vendors on this site, like Racetronics, and hotwire it eiter using a purchased kit or making one yourself using the instructions on GNTtype.org.

Don't put an external puller on the stock/crap pump.

The bogging can also be timing retard from too much knock cause by too much boost, so stay out of the gas until you get it fixed.
