I may have an opportunity in the Carlsbad area.
What is your opinion of that area?
What are the towns to look at and to avoid?

Carlsbad killed their 1/4 mile racetrack!

Carlsbad is nice. Very close to downtown, right below Camp Pendleton.

It aint cheap down there but opposed to Sac town and such it may be a little cheaper.

Check out Temecula too. Its cheaper than San Diego county, very easy drive and lots of room.

its a bit pricey IN carlsbad, but as Reggie said , outlying areas are more affordable, and pretty nice too!
big problem is traffic on 15 fwy, if you have to drive it! its a parking lot in the am &pm,
escondito , vista are nice areas, and somewhat affordable,
check this site ( Find All the Homes for Sale & Experienced Real Estate Agents | Redfin) put in your parameters for housing to get an idea of what to expect,
and by all means , hollar if you get in the area, I can tell you who,, I mean what to look out for! LOL

I think it's a great area, John. We've even discussed the possibility about moving out that way in the future.
