Ok so here is my questions are all 200r4 cases created equal??
I was left my late uncles GN powered S10. He has a 200r4 bought from a tranny shop for very cheap installed in it. It has problems to say the least. But he did buy 2 other 200r4's one of which i remember him saying was a bfr. The problem is he had dissassembled both of them to find out what parts he needed so I am left with 2 dissassembled transmissions and alot of work ahead of me.
My plan is to remove the trans in the truck now and use the BFR parts to rebuild it along with recommended parts by you all. I plan to purchase the CK book. Do i need the actual BFR case and all or can I just rebuild the assembled one with the better parts.
Intentions are a daily driver that will run in the 12's no matter which end. Just a fun truck to drive.
