Yes it should light.
The wires that run to the cam sensor come from the CCCI. The cam sensor itself has no contact with the ECM and the CCCI reports back to the ECM for the cam sensor.
You can check the wires running to the cam sensor, the connector on the CCCI or pull the cap and see if the ring is loose.
