I just got it wired up along with the new scan master and the sucker squalls as soon as I turn the key on and will not stop after starting !!!! I had to extend the yellow wire. It was too short so I put another 12" of wire on it to allow for the ECM and stuff to go back in place without pulling on the wires.
FIrst try I stripped back a place about 2-3 inch back from the plug and soldered the Yellow and Black wire to the B7 also Yellow and Black off the ECM. I then had to add a extension after I figured out they did not included enough wire on it to get all the plastic parts back in place... I cut the yellow wire in the middle to the buzzer and soldered in a new piece of wire about 12" long so I could get everything in place. Pink to IGN terminal on fuse box shared with ScanMaster. Ground to 10 mm screw under dash where a ground was already attached. Is the thing defective ???
I purchsed it last year, but its been on the shelf till now I am probably screwed warrenty wise now espcially since I cut the yellow wire etc.... My car hates me...
