Hi

I've searched the forums but I'm still overcome with confusion as to what is a good switched power source for the Casper's knock gauge. Could someone point me to "The One" to use or is just a matter of tapping into one of the pink-with-black-stripe ones near the fuse box? Also, while I'm at it, which side of a fuse is the "cold" side?

Thank You

maybe just as easy to tap into the yellow ign wire behind the stereo? already fused at 10a......

there also should be a IGN/ACC port (you will need a male spade connector)in the fuse block. add whatever fuse the gage needs inline. (5-10a?)

IGN 3 slot is a good spot, hot only in the RUN key position.

Should deter false triggering.

Protected by the A/C fuse.
