I'm a lil confused on the soldering. The instruction's read crimping and then solder. How do you do that. Anybody have any pics. Thanks for the help.

Crimp first than for added protection solder.

Sounds like you need noninsulated butt connectors. Were connectors in the kit?

So I stick the wire in the tube , crimp. After how do you solder.

Get a small hand torch and some solder. Heat up the connector and touch it with the solder. The solder will run into the connector.

That butt connector has a tiny hole in the center that you feed the solder into when its hot enough. Don't be afraid to use some heat to prevent cold soldering.

And flux works wonders

Good point! I twist both ends, dip into flux, crimp both ends, heat from the bottom with the hole facing up, when flux starts to sizzle dap into that hole and you will see solder wick out both ends.
