Most tickets have a fone # on them. You can call, get the fine $, and send it in...

Pay it and learn your lesson. Out of staters are easy pickings.

The cops here are crazy and all about giving you a ticket. And some of the price of it is court cost. Just for court here is 180

And im in a rental w fl plates to boot. I get it its money into the econ esp outta towners. Any suggestions to get points erased or lessened. If I can pay more to not get points I dont mind either.. :D

You may start to get letters in the snail mail with lawyers who look at the public docket offering representation. This happened to me in 2003...87/65...paid the lawyer they dropped to 10 over stayed home and problem was solved. It does show up on the your record and your insurance company will thank you.

Where were you? I know a few lawyers in wake county.

If you have a pretty clean record they'll normally reduce it if you show up for court. I was caught going 15 over (50 in a 35). Cop was nice and told me to not pay the ticket and just show up for court. Sure enough most people that day had theirs reduced, because of my record they completely dropped my ticket. Didn't even have to pay court costs. If you can't show up personally then get a lawyer.

show up thats what ticket says also talk with a lawyer in that area. You know what will happen if ticket rules are not followed.

My wife was caught speeding on our way to the Charlotte, NC Airport from Raeford, NC to pick up her friend.
We have Arizona Plates on our car and Arizona Driver licenses.
She was going 21 over down a steep hill where it changes from 65 to 55. (Really is a quick change)
She received a ticket and a court date 3 months out.
She drove back to Charlotte to drop off her friend at the Airport last week and stopped at the Court house.
They reduced her ticket to 10 over and paid a $280 fine with no points.
Oh and yeah, we received alot of mail from lawyers.
Hope this helps and everything works out for you.
