Working on a car with the following:

- Champion Billet Aluminum Combination Alternator and Power Steering Pump Bracket.
- Meziere Electric Water Pump.

Problems:
1. With the stock crank pulley, and the longer alternator bracket that champion gives you for electric water pumps, the serpentine belt hits the bottom side of the water pump body (see "red circle" in picture below). The alternator sits too high.

2. If you use the smaller alternator bracket (or try using a mild underdrive crank pulley like we did) WITH the electric water pump, the serpentine belt does NOT hit the pump body, but no there is ZERO clearance between the upper and lower runs of the serpentine belt (see "red arrows" in picture below).

WTF?? What is the fix for this???

Thanks,
-Banning.

Must use the right combonation of pulleys on the alt and crank
RJC hac the proper crank pulley and you will need to play with alt pulley to get the belt size and adjustment correct

I have the same combination. I am running an RJC underdrive pulley (approx. 4 3/4") with a 2" alternator pulley.

Cal... you have any pics of your setup? I have a Meziere electric water pump that I want to install on the TR and was wondering what I will all need to make it work. I assuming just the RJC underdrive pulley, 2" alternator pulley? Anything else? I want to keep my PS and Air. Any help will be appreciate it!
