Now that makes sense and here I was thinking about converting my GN over to E85 this winter. It looks like I may just keep the car the way it is. ThanksGlad I did not switch like I was urged to. Most of my friends are switching back.
The main reason is they can not get a constant formula for the pump. One time it is 85% the next it is 80% so their tune is off.
You would have to buy a barrel at a time to keep the tune anywhere near the same for a period of time.
If I go from running E85 to 93 octane would I have to change injectors? Mine now are 140lb DW.
If you don't mind me asking why are you switching from E85 over to 93?
That tune would not change. It would be slightly richer going from 85 to 80, but not enough to make you switch to 93 octane. I have run e93 to e78 all on the same tune, and the car runs the same, mid to low 8s. ??????Glad I did not switch like I was urged to. Most of my friends are switching back.
