I have just replaced an alternator that had bad bearings. My output voltage is 13.5. That is too low. Does anyone know of a p/n for a voltage regulator that will raise this to an acceptable level.
What kind of charging system mods is everyone else running?
TIA.

13.5 is Fine. You dont want to produce too much voltage, or you can do more damage to your electrical system.(i.e. over charge battery, shortens life of battery, burn wires, etc,etc..
A fully charged batt should have 12.5 off the shelf, So i think 13.5 is plenty...
