Charlotte area to get top notch Dragstrip??...

Ok, I've now heard from 3 different sources that Charlotte is going to get a multi-million $$ facility somewhere around 2006!!

But... I can't find any info. about it on the web anywhere. If anyone else has any info. please report it or maybe post a link to it.

I knew they were working on one out on the coast around Nags Head, but this is the first I've heard of one in Charlotte! Do you think the jerks that shut down Shuffletown will allow this??

I have heard this for years...Last I heard it was gonna be near Lowes Motor speedway. Would be nice to have a 1/4 mile track closer to home....Then again....Would be nicer to have one of my toys going so I could play too...Maybe I should stay off this computer...lol
