Since the check valves Part#(25525315) are no longer available from GM. where do you get replacements? Auto parts stores here in southern WI carry the HELP brand, but 1 side has a smaller hose attachment. Will this matter. The hose to vacume cannister needs to be smaller in diameter. Thanks

HELP unit will probably be OK.........or go to a boneyard. Practically every GM car there will have a check valve you can use and in most cases.........they are free! ;)

Try GM #14047619...same check valves except the large circular part is a smaller diameter...have them on both my TR's and they work fine...

Are these check valves designed so that air will only pass thru one way, a complete blockage one way? If so then I have a bad one.

paul

That's the way they should work...if you can blow air through the valve from boths ends...it's bad...that's why I replaced all of them on both my cars...under boost on one car the vacuum line going to the EGR valve kept blowing off because the check valve was toast...

Scott, the GM P/N you gave, does it use the same size hose as stock sizes?

paul

Yep...nipples on the ends are same as stock...only difference is a smaller body...wait a minute...am I talking about check valves here??...sorry lost myself for a minute...

thanks MSDGN and all other replies. Ordered a few with the part # you supplied. 2.50 apiece from GM parts direct. Jace

So, b231v6, where abouts are you here in Souther WI?
