Chip question

Im using a G chip extender pro and and a Gen 2 translator. Is it necessary to make changes on the Gen 2 translator or should I just leave it defaulted.

I leave mine defaulted, I do program the chip itself however.

Just double checked your post, mines an extender extreme G not the Pro, sorry.

How do I do that? It seems like you need a engineering degree to work on these dam cars.

A degree is not enough. You need patience, a scanmaster and the help from this forum at the least. Mine hadn't run right for years but a month on this site and she now runs better than the day I bought it and it only cost me a Scanmaster a tt chip and a few other odds and ends. I went from wanting to dumping gas on it and lighting it off to it being my fav daily driver thanks largely to this forum and cottons performance.
