Chrome dash strip question

Can someone let me know how the chrome dash strip is attached? The long one that runs from above the radio area to over glove box. I'd like to remove but don't want to break it. Does it have push clips or does it have mounting screws/nuts from the backside?

it just pops in there , no fasteners or adhesive

best to do when everything is warm

Something has to hold it in there. Are there tabs or something? How far apart are they? Or is the whole strip just kind of pinched in there?

no tabs , no clips , no adhesive
its a v shaped plastic strip just pushed in there , pulls right out

Ok, thanks for clarifying for me. I ll warm it up with the hair dryer and pull it out.

you cant break it but need to be careful on how much you bend it because the chrome film on the plastic is mylar and once flexed it keeps that wrinkled look

It is simply resting in grove. Use a screwdriver and carefully pry it out.
