Ck kit tv boost spring modification

I am installing a ck shift kit and there is a modification on number 346 spring ,,,his install instructions say to eliminate spring and replace with his spring and in his rebuild book it says to ad his spring to the original .....am i reading right and which should i do......CONFUSED

Install the short stubby 4 coil spring that is in the kit and thats all

Looks like his 3-2 valve mod. Book came before this so always use most recent literature.

Sorry not talking about 3 2 mod but about tv valve return spring.
