CK Performance reworked BRF Governor

$80 shipped Orange gear not included, has Ivory gear on it now. According to Bison, this is not a BR governor. It was purchased from CK performance to replace the BR governor in my transmission.

what are the symptoms of a bad or going out governor. and is this one a used stock one?

This would be a replacement, in case you don't have the correct BRF governor. Usually a bad governor, or one that has thrown the springs woule be erratic or high shift points under light throttle.

This is a used BRF governor that was rebuilt, calibrated, and pinned by CK performance.

when mine is down shifting coming to a stop it clucks into gears. would it make it do that? other than that it shifts and works fine however last week I heard a noise that sounding like my torque convertor like a swishing sound and louder in gear. and then it started coming out of overdrive when it warmed up and staying in drive after it cooled down it will shift into overdrive and its fine after that but I have been keeping it in drive only and have had no issues yet. I just ordered a new torque convertor, do you think a bad convertor would make it do that? fluid is great cherry bright red and is not burnt and is at correct level when warm in park, tranny was rebuilt a couple of years back by the previous owner. what do you think?

and I just replaced the motor mounts and transmission mount.

Your issue doesn't sound like a governor issue.

What VB was used with this governor and the shift point at WOT ? I am looking for a medium governor, but that one was already calibrated for something and not sure what CK did to it. Its a match to some VB. I need governor for 4800 WOTs as this is for a V8 retrofit.

This shifted close to 5000 with the ck valve body.
