My sons GN is idling a bit rough and falls on its face at 5 psi. Mal shows code 34.

Any advice on where to start? This is just coming out of cold winter storage. Anything to try before replacing mad air flow sensor. Hat to throw parts at it if there are some test I can do 1st.

Thanks!

Dennis

Update code 34.

Replaced mass air flow sensor and no improvement.

Decided to look into Translator box and it was wet with water from condensation from coming out of winter cold storage. Took out circuit board and hit it with some air and then electrical cleaner. Problem gone!!

Thanks for the help!

The next time you decided to store your TR, you might want to use some type of preventive moisture system to protect the inside the car as well as the outside.
Even thought my home garage has no heat, dry and cold in the winter times, I still use a large metal can and filled it with charcoal briquettes.
Check this site for some other ideas.

Sounds right. Every time I wash my car I accidentally fill mine up with water.
