Code bypass

im working on a car with a code 31 it is the code for the boost solenoid . I will not be using it because I installed a manual boost controller . So can I bypass the code somehow to make sure the check Engine light doesn’t come on?

must be an old chip with stock format or stock chip as most aftermarket chips (like the turbo tweak chips) already have that flag turned off allowing removal of the boost solenoid without worry of SES lamp or code popping up
you could connect a restistor across the boost solenoid terminal s to satisfy the ecu or jut connect a solenoid and leave it unhooked from vac lines

Back in the day when I was burning chips I'd just zero out the table for the wastegate solenoid duty cycle when guys were running an external waste gate. That would keep the check engine light from coming on.
