When going to a bigger turbo, say a 70mm and above, are there problems with the compressor coming in contact with the heater hose that comes off the water pump?? If so, solution???

Nope.

Russ, the snout on my water pump for my engine that you did was a little bit longer than my other one (It must have been aftermarket). So I did have to cut the hose a bit and mover it further in to gain clearance. Not really and issue, though.

BTDT.
Definitely a PITA gremlin.
Trim snout on water pump, debur snout, reuse same hose and stretch it lower.
Worked for me for 4 years of racing with an H cover PTE turbo.

The other solution would be to silicone the as cast snout closed, drill and tap a new location and move your new brass water fitting further up the neck, use a new hose and route it over the cast ear of the pump.

Sweet bullet Russ.

Thanks Patrick. I didn't trim or cut anything on that one. AC Delco pump and hose. They were ATR headers.
