What exactly are you asking? The maps for the 44 and the 49 are going to be the same since they use the same compressor wheels.

Ha...just goes to show how ignorant I am....what I'm basically asking is this... Did you guys look at compressor maps, do the research thing or asked the Joneses' what they were running in their car? I'm trying to learn about compressor maps, reading them, translating them into english, etc. Forgive my ignorance...

Innovative turbo has some nice maps on their site if you can find them.

Most people have been running the turbos you have mentioned since about 1990 or so.

Lots of street and track and dyno. data to back up what the Jones say so to speak.

I'd call it mostly word of mouth backed up at the track. :)

At the point of common knowledge about now.

Also pretty much the only thing available that would work well with the stock converter as a mild upgrade for many years, it's not like you had a ton of choices on something to use.

I would like to see one also. Especially the ta49. Innovative has some maps on thier website but I can't find a ta49 per se. I see a to4e-40, 50 or 60. Is it one on these?
I do know on precision's website they list a ta49 with a 44mm dia wheel.

I saw the light...

Thanks SalvageV6, that's the kinda info/thinking I was after. Appreciate the replies guys. Innovative does have a nice website...
