How do you get rid of the pop up when you scroll over threads?

When your looking down the list of threads, and your curser arrow goes over a thread, that god damn box pops up and shows whats in the thread.

Same thing on ebay, scroll and fn pop ups.

Anyone know how to get rid of it?

Yeah it was neat back when they came up with that feature, but now its more of a pain in the fn ass.

I followed your path, found
my computer
find folder options
click view
then unclick show popup desc.....

then hit apply

I did the above and it still pops up the text in other threads when your scrolling down.

Thanks for the help, i should have thought about googling it.

It did keep the popup from private messages from flipping up.

Need to find the reason those pesky boxes pop up when scrolling threads.

Just run the cursor to the left or right not over the title, simple. I like feature. I can decide if I want to open the thread or not.

It would be nice not to have to worry about making sure your in the yellow zone so it doesnt come up.

Thats what ive been doing, it still is irritating
