Now that your new "toy" is home...

*musically* "I got to ride it, I got to ride it, I got to ride it"

And while it was fun... I'm too old, and too "flicky" with the right wrist to ride a crotch-rocket......

And I still say you shoulda got the blue one... youre gonna get speeding tickets with that one while its parked...(arrest-me red)

Again, enjoy...

Rob

Yeah congrats chris on the new toy
I am soooooooo jealous!
I have to wait at least until next year.

Thank you...Thanks you...
:D...I had to give myself a retarded excuse to ride last night. I just went to 711 to buy me a diet coke. drank it all up there...and openned up a can of whoop-ass between 711 and Kolowaka. what a rush! but back it went into the Garage. Cant wait till I finish MSF, and get Tony to give me my insurance, and off I go w00t! now that school starts next week...I may put on the passenger seat just in case some hottie needs a ride :D

Congrats!!! Just let me know anytime you want to go riding. I'm ALWAYS l0oking for a reason to ride besides going to work....

Derrick

Congrats Chris, We should go riding or maybe you, me, and Derrick can do some 1/4 mile passes.:D

Welcome Back Derrick!

Yah!! that would be awsome boss'em! I'm still trying to get used to the bike on turns at low speed...i keep pegging my foot as if I were on my old YZ250. prolly trying to kick the tail out  I took the bike out again and stretched a little on Ft. Weaver. Damn this bike is light! I went on my brother's R6 to experience what he's says that his R6 feels heavier. I rode it around and around and around. Then I went on to my bike...took around and around and around. Now I know what's he is saying. weaving left to right and taking faster turns between the two is night and day. the 6R freaking awsome! its a little stiff on the turns..but pretty good over all. Its no dirtbike...but hey..I'm REALLY Happy! Rob and Donnie were there to see the biggest smile possibly ever seen on my face. well...MSF starts this Sunday...w00t!

Hey Chris,

A couple notes on MSF.

1) be well rested

2) bring lots of water/rehydration

3) you will be exhausted from walking, pushing, etc... by monday morning (thats a promise)

4) most importantly, go to class with an open mind. everything you know is out the window, start with a clear slate and learn what they are teaching... too many "experienced" riders fail because they think they already know how to ride...

Have fun, and be safe

PS, its Dawnie, not Donnie

Hey Chris who are you going through to get insurance? Is it pretty cheap or what....most places I have been calling have been kinda expensive.

I will be going through Progressive. AIG turned me down 'cause I have a speeding violation. StateFarm doesnt Insure drivers with a permit but still pretty high. Progressive by far is the cheapest for me at this time. I'll have to wait 3 years before I can go to AIG pending my I my record clean. Progressive quoted me for Full coverate just under $1500/year...thats pretty much what I thought it would be. Liability coverage is $278/year. But in event your bike gets stolen or layed down...they cant do anything. Lucky for us we're resourceful :p to an extent  when you call in for a quote...kinda bend the truth a little. tell them you're licensed, you have taken the MSF course, you have roughly 8-10years experience riding dirtbike (cause there's no way of tracing that) bike will be kept in a enclosed garage and and will be rode for pleasure. :) thing is..you gotta live up to what youre going to be claiming when you sign their policy.;)
