console color

The console in my 84 GN is black on the bottom with a grey top part (may or may not be the stock console). I've seen several pics of 84 GN's and I think I have seen all grey consoles but I do remember seeing one black and grey one but I'm not sure what year of car it was in. Is the black and grey console a "year spacific" part and if so, what year is it from?

The black and grey one I believe is specific to the Grand National (or WE2)package only. I am pretty sure they were used from 85-87...not real sure on the 84. The T-Types with grey interiors used the solid grey ones. Not an expert on this though.

Do you have the Leir Interior?

Yes it is Lear. This pics in this thread show an all grey console. That is what confused me.
