Can anyone identify this converter

It has the number 7 stamped about every inch on the outside diameter.

The 8653702 is the GM part number. The code is for a (D) 30 spline 700 converter. (E) is for a 1639 stall rating. (G) is not even shown in my literature. If it is a (C) then that is for 330 ft/lb with 28 degrees of travel. (F) is for converter lugs of 3 and they are of the 245mm style. Sounds like a later model converter with a woven carbon fiber clutch. Used in PWM transmissions. Maybe Chris or Bruce can give a little better read on the (G) code.

This 30 spline 700 converter is in my 200-R4

If it was running fine, then it has been rebuilt with the before mentioned case of that converter and the sticker didn't get take off. It could be made to work like a D5. Just not exactly the same.
