If I look at TCI and Wallace this is what I get
TCI = 13.25 %
Wallace Racing 20.61%
What is a good percentage?
I think I have a problem!

That is obviously a lockup converter. I think Dusty spec'd mine around 5%, but it is his 9.5NLU
Before I swapped to PTC, I had a lockup and was slipping about the same as you. Running 125 mph

How / why does the wallace-tci formula vary so much? I was at 7% with my dusty spec ptc. My combo was not fully dialed in yet either. What rpm/gear/tire size are you using at 148?

That's not unusual for a 9" which is why I don't use that core unless it's a high rpm combo. The 9" typically can't couple as well as others in the low rpm range the Buick operates in once you push it into the 10's. If your not there it could possibly be tightened. You could call them to ask.
