With my GN motor swap nearly complete I'm beginning to wonder if I should have had the convertor tightened up. It's a Continental 8in N/L in my th400(which I'm planning on using) With the 406ci SBC that I used to have it would stall around 3500 with the footbrake and about 5000 with the trans brake. The motor made around 550 hp and 600ft lbs torque. My GN motor is currently stock but I was wondering when I upgrade to a 60 series turbo if the convertor will work alright. The truck weighs 2900lbs has 3.50 gears and 28in tires. I know it is probably overkill with the stock turbo but should I worry when I go to a larger turbo?? Less torque = less stall, right??? Any sugg. or ideas would be greatly appreciated. TIA -Scott
